ENROLMENT NIGHTS For those who prefer to enrol in person and who cannot come to the office during the day. A chance to find out more about the courses. Enrolment nights are held in the Community Education Office at the back of the carpark at 6-10 Kauri Glen Rd. (Come in through Northcote College Gate 5.) Drop in and have a chat about which class is right for you. Eftpos is available.

Term 1: Tuesday 7 February, 2012 from 4-8pm

Term 2: Monday 23 April, 2012 from 4-8pm

PLEASE NOTE:
The office will be closed from during the school holidays - from Friday 16 December 2011 until Monday 23 JANUARY 2012. EMail will be cleared from time to time over this period.

Please try to enrol at least 3 days before a course is due to begin to help us with preparation of class materials.

Unless otherwise specified, course sessions are run on the same day of the week for consecutive weeks.

Fees: All fees include GST. Please do NOT go to a class without paying. There is no longer any Government funding for most courses. Our ESOL Courses are partly funded by the Government. You are entitled to enrol in these courses if you are a New Zealand Resident and over 16 years of age, and you are not a fulltime secondary student. (Please provide evidence of your status when you enrol.) Non residents may enrol, but are required to pay a surcharge of 50% in addition to the course fee.

Receipts: If you have enrolled by mail, phone, fax or online, you will receive a receipt & a map of the school by post or e-mail, so you can go straight to your room.

Refunds: Enrolment fees are fully refunded if a class is full or fails to start. Applications for refunds for classes that are not full or cancelled must be received in writing 5 working days before the class starts. Students may apply for a credit note to the full value of the course, or a refund less a $20 administration fee. No refunds after a course has started.

Discounts: Two places are available in each class at a discount of 50%. These places are for Social Welfare beneficiaries able to provide evidence of their status. Please bring your Community Services Card or CSC endorsed SuperGold Card. There is no discount available for materials costs.

Material Costs: The course description will inform you if you are required to bring a fee for materials.

Cancelled Classes: Classes may be cancelled up to 24 hours before they are due to start.

Certificate of Attendance: Students may request a Certificate of Attendance if they have attended a minimum of 80% of the course.

Evaluation: Please take some time to fill out the evaluation forms at the end of your course. Completed forms help us in planning and refining Community Education courses.

Rooms: Please leave all rooms as you found them.

Cancellation of Enrolment: The Co-ordinator has the right to refuse or cancel any enrolment.
